How prayers are answered by Divine timing:  A Case Study

I have heard a story about a boss from hell who bullied, harassed and threatened her staff individually when nobody else was around. This included swearing and throwing their work on the floor. She had a very professional external front, but what external clients saw and what her staff saw, were two different people.

She lied and twisted the truth to escape all responsibility for her actions and decisions. She was never to blame, it was always somebody else’’s fault. She also played the classical divide and concur game that bred an environment of mistrust in her office. In such an environment her “enemies” or “victims” were less likely to complain or tell others about their experiences. This strategy worked extremely well for more than a year.

A client of mine formulated the following affirmation to help her cope with this boss:  “You have no power over me”. She repeated this several times until she intuitively knew it was time to stop.  She then wrote her boss’’s name and job title on a piece of paper and put it into her freezer.  As she was writing her name and placing the piece of paper into the freezer, she repeated the affirmation and closed the freezer. She combined the affirmation with a ritual to make it stronger. Also, she did not state how she wanted it resolved…all she wanted to affirm was that this person had no power over her and therefore could not harm her. That is all that she wanted at that time. That is why she symbolically froze her - she was symbolically dead to her - frozen, so that she could not harm my client or anybody else anymore.

My client reported her boss’’s behaviour, knowing very will that it would be a difficult journey that lay ahead for her. And it was - the investigations took months to complete.

This whole journey effected her family financially and one night she asked God to resolve this situation, as her  money was drying up fast and she was starting to go into debt.

We are sometimes called to act on behalf of others or for a reason - to do what is right. She did what she was asked to do and yet she felt abandoned by God and lonely in this whole experience. It wasn”t an easy task she was given by Heaven. She basically said: “I did what You asked, I reported this matter to stop the suffering in that office. Please do something about my finances soon, please help me too! “  She was adamant and had no doubt in her mind that it was a two way process and that is why she asked for a quick resolution. Somewhere during this intense dialogue with God she drifted off to sleep.

The next day she got a text message from colleague to say that their boss was fired on the spot at work! Can you believe it? It is absolutely amazing. That meant that she could return to work, earn money and resume her life again. It also meant that others, who were too afraid to admit that they were bullied, could relax and work in a normal work environment.

Her prayer was answered over night.

God hears our prayers, even though we sometimes feel alone and abandoned by God. Keep praying and believe that God will answer your prayers. Prayers are answered by Divine timing and everything does not always happen when we want to happen. My client’’s situation took months to resolve, but the main thing is that it was resolved and by Divine timing.

Have faith in difficult situations and don””t worry about how things would be resolved. Let Heaven sort out the how. Our job is to have faith and let Heaven take the driving seat.

God Bless,

Victoria
