Gratitude for your health

While I was having lunch today, I noticed a man not far from me struggling to eat his food.  He was well dressed and obviously working somewhere in the area, but the poor man had such  a hard time to eat his Sushi. He had little muscle control in his arms and hands and was shaking so badly that the struggled to feed himself.

My heart went out to this brave man, who despite the odds are still working and living a normal life.  I silently thanked God for my good health and the good health of my family.

We often forget to give thanks to God for our health.  It is one of the things we take it for granted.

If you ever feel a little down again, take a good look around you. God will open your eyes to see others who are worse off than you.

Bless this unknown stranger that God has sent to me today to teach me a spiritual lesson of gratitude.
